Christian Store Day planning guide, localized news release ready.
As part of ongoing planning for Christian Store Day, new materials are available on the Christian store Web site, including a detailed planning guide and a news release that retailers may modify with local information and distribute to local media.
Christian Store Day is an unprecedented cooperative industry effort to celebrate Christian stores and the role they play in their local communities, and to drive traffic and sales to Christian stores. The event also aligns with ministry partners Compassion International, Operation Christian Child (a Samaritan’s Purse project), and World Vision to generate awareness and raise funds for continued relief and rebuilding for earthquake victims in Haiti, where more than 3 million people have been affected and nearly a quarter million have died.
The exclusive sale of an enhanced compilation CD is the vehicle to raise donations. The CD will include recordings and e-book offerings from top artists and authors sponsored by partner vendors.
The consumer and church Web site, www.ChristianStoreDay.com, went live last week. The site includes pastor, author, and artist testimonials in support of Christian stores, the store locator, and more.
