Nominate retailers for a CBA Spirit of Excellence Award.

It’s time again to nominate a retailer you know for a CBA Spirit of Excellence award. The new CBA Spirit of Excellence Awards are designed to acknowledge not just one store every year, but several stores that are obtaining winning, measurable results in their stores by collaborating with other partners in the channel. CBA will compile nominations and announce winning stores in the months leading up to the International Christian Retail Show 2010, June 27-30, 2010. Stores that receive a CBA Spirit of Excellence award will be eligible for the grand prize Jim Carlson National CBA Spirit of Excellence Award, which will be announced at ICRS in St. Louis.

We welcome any and every nomination. In particular, we’re looking for excellence in the following areas:

Innovation: How has the store used out-of-the-box thinking to implement new ideas and further Christian retail?

Community Outreach/Ministry: How is the store engaging the community and/or being true to its mission?

Marketing: How is this store finding ways to incorporate new tools or build relationships with customers using new marketing techniques?

Merchandising: How is the store effectively managing inventory and/or implementing new and unique ways of engaging customers through displays?

Customer Experience: How is this store presenting a total store experience to reach new groups or customers?
